Born in Sauveterre, France, Année Quinze usually uses writing, painting and video for her artistic works. The possibilities and the limits of each of these medias are explored separately or together according to the concept of the project. Generally, writing is the start point in each the ideas are developed; after, Painting is considered as a state of emergency that reveals the necessity on creating an action that has its echo in the moving images of a video. The questioning of these procedures goes along with personal themes that go beyond established notions of figuration, narration and specially individuality.
